Alteus Connect is a vetted community of fractional technical experts across APAC. We check who people are, then prove what they can do, before anyone is put in front of a client.
Four checks before a shortlist
1. Identity verified
Government ID with a liveness check, phone and email confirmation, and the LinkedIn profile matched to the person. Duplicate accounts are blocked.
2. Resume read by AI
Experts upload a resume and Claude extracts skills, tools, years of experience and seniority. For consultants it also extracts process skills (process mapping, business rules, data mapping, acceptance testing) and business domains. The expert confirms each skill. This is the starting map of what they can do.
3. Skills evidenced
Key skills are proven with short, real-world challenges peer-reviewed by experienced members, public repositories or verified certifications. Engineers (FDEs) build something that works; consultants (FDCs) map a real workflow, reconcile messy data or turn a policy into rules and test cases. Pods take a joint challenge. Only evidenced skills carry full weight in matching.
4. Delivery record
After every Alteus engagement the client reviews the work. Strong reviews move the expert to the Delivered tier and to the top of future shortlists.

For every shortlisted expert, an Alteus Capability Profile: an evidence-backed summary instead of a CV.

How do I join?
Create an account as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), a Forward Deployed Consultant (FDC) or both, upload your resume so our AI can extract your skills, confirm them, and complete the identity check. Then take a skill challenge in your strongest area.
I am a consultant, not a developer. Is this for me?
Yes. FDCs are business and technology people who understand a workflow, process and its logic. You partner with FDEs in a pod: you capture how the client's work really happens and define what 'correct' looks like; they build the harness that runs it.
Will clients see my name?
Not at first. Clients see an anonymised capability profile. Your name is shared once an engagement is signed with Alteus.

Keep your skills evidenced and your availability current. The Alteus team shortlists from evidenced skills and contacts you through your Alteus inbox.

Who do we contract with?
With Alteus. One commercial relationship, a standard statement of work, clear IP terms and milestones, and Alteus accountable for delivery.
How quickly can we see a shortlist?
It depends on the brief and on who is available; we tell you what to expect once we have reviewed it. Shortlists arrive as anonymised capability profiles ranked against your required skills.
Can we meet candidates before committing?
Yes. Interviews are arranged by Alteus once you have chosen from the shortlist.
