Alteus Connect sits between hirers and tech experts. Hirers set the criteria, experts set up their skills, and three layers of selection do the rest.
1. AI Recruiter — skills extraction
When an expert uploads a resume, Claude reads it and extracts skills, tools, years of experience, and seniority. The expert reviews and confirms every skill, and can add coding and tool skills manually with proficiency levels from 1 to 5. Nothing enters the matching pool unverified.
2. AI Matcher — hybrid scoring
Hirers define the role: required and nice-to-have skills, minimum proficiency and years, engagement type, start date, duration, location, languages, and budget. The engine scores every expert on required skills, nice-to-haves, experience, and availability, then Claude re-ranks the best candidates and writes a rationale for each.
3. Human expert — final review
An Alteus specialist reviews the AI shortlist and decides who is proposed. You see anonymised profiles in your workspace and accept the proposal or ask for changes.

Proposal
